Orographic Cloud ☁︎ Black Mountain Calendar
An orographic cloud is a meteorological cloud wave dispertion formed by the uplift due to the relief.
The air encountering an obstacle in the relief must rise and disperse sometime in waves.
Was invented to allow the observation of periodic phenomena
— such as the daily movement of the shade, the return of the seasons or the lunar cycle —
which served as the first references for organising the agricultural, social and other life of societies.
